First-Year

Pricing per semester

  • Shared rooms (double, triple and quad): $7,925
  • Single rooms: $9,022

Dining per semester

All on-campus housing includes a dining allotment that cannot be removed from the total cost of housing.

The first-year dining allotment includes:

  • unlimited access to The Met, our “all you care to eat” dining facility
  • 225 dining points per semester for use in any RISD Dining venue
  • five (5) weekly cafe credits for use in most dining venues
  • three (3) guest meal credits
  • a one-time $50 risdbucks credit (can be used for dining venues and other purchases on campus)

Sophomore

15 West Alcove Suite

  • shared room: $8,076

Upperclass

Pricing per semester

Depending on amenity level and configuration, upperclass residences are classified as either “cooperative” or “independent” apartments.

15 West

  • cooperative 2–4 bedroom apartment: $8,624
  • cooperative shared loft (double, triple): $7,142
  • independent studio loft: $9,695
  • independent mini loft: $9,558

Colonial Apartments

  • cooperative 2–3 bedroom apartment: $8,556
  • independent studio: $9,628

Dwight Apartments

  • independent studio: $9,628

Dining per semester

With the exception of 15 West mini lofts, upperclass apartments come with the following dining allotment:

  • 30 meal swipes at The Met
  • 700 dining points
  • 100 cafe credits
  • two (2) guest meals

Since the mini lofts in 15 West do not come with the same kitchen amenities as other upperclass apartments, they include the same dining allotment as sophomore-area housing:

  • unlimited access to The Met
  • 225 dining points
  • five (5) weekly cafe credits
  • three (3) guest meals
