What we do

Through events, workshops and peer education, Health Education and Promotion (HEP) helps RISD students access the tools, skills and knowledge you need to achieve a personal state of wellness, toward creating a community that makes wellbeing a keystone of your success at RISD and beyond.

HEP is also home to the Health and Wellness Ambassadors (HAWAs), a student team that plays an essential role in promotion student wellbeing on campus.
