Many Pre-College students opt to live on campus in the residence halls, where you’ll enjoy a safe, social and inclusive living experience throughout the program. Live-in professional staff and student resident advisors (RAs) supervise the residence halls and offer you support and mentorship along the way.
All Pre-College program students live in the first-year area. To view video tours, learn about room amenities and get general information about each hall, just follow this link. You can choose to live in single-sex rooms housed in mixed-gender, gender-inclusive and single-gender floors. Single, double and triple rooms are available. You’ll be able to indicate your housing preference during the application process.
If you’re interested in gender-inclusive housing options, please send us an email. Once accepted, you’ll receive instructions for completing your online housing application.
If you need specific housing accommodations due to medical needs, you’ll need to fill out a medical accommodations request along with your housing application, and provide a letter from your physician.
Roommates
An important part of Pre-College is meeting new friends in a new environment. This is why we assign your roommate(s) for you. We select roommates based on the lifestyle information you provide us in your online housing application.
We do not grant room changes during the Pre-College program, except in emergency situations.
“Weekends away”
We expect residential students to live on campus throughout the the program with the exception of predetermined “weekend away” that you should arrange before the start of the program. You can also arrange your weekend away, via the parent portal, by noon eastern time on the Thursday immediately preceding your desired weekend away.
Cars on campus
We do not permit Pre-College students to operate motor vehicles while living on campus. This includes scooters and motorcycles.
