A student-run graphic design studio specializing in web, identity and brand, print, typography and image making, the Design Guild plays a key role in creating the annual yearbook and also supports branding for Orientation, Commencement, the Artist Ball and more.

CAB members are key in curating CSI-supported student events, as well as their own programming. As part of the CAB you gain experience in event planning, social media marketing, community outreach and more.

By fostering connection and supporting adjustment to campus life, OLs help create a welcoming and inclusive campus environment for new students and their families right from the start of their time at RISD. As an OL you facilitate group activities, lead campus tours, support logistics and help new students find ways of belonging. The OL program also involves advanced leadership positions for returning leaders who want to grow further in a leadership role.

SFC staff promote health and wellness on campus through fitness, while helping ensure a safe and positive experience for all visitors. As an SFC team member you support programming, create content focused on physical wellness and identify ways of maximizing the center’s resources. For returning leaders, you can also take on advanced leadership positions within the team.

RISD’s student government organization provides opportunities for students to lead, and to advocate for students and elevate the student voice. By bridging gaps between students and administration, the Alliance is a force for advancing student-led community change.

How to apply: Elections occur each spring, with elected students assuming their roles the following academic year.
