Housing portal opens and housing selection begins
The housing portal is your one stop location for accessing a wide variety of forms, applications and information related to housing and dining at RISD. This is where you will create your housing profile, let us know your residence hall preference and create a resident profile to help match you with potential roommates.
Please note, if you need a change or an accommodation for your housing on campus due to a medical reason, please review the medical accommodation guidelines and timeline. Contact Disability Support Services with questions.

Submit all required health forms and vaccination information to your online patient portal.

Review your fall bill
You will receive your bill via your RISD student email account. This is also your opportunity to authorize others (such as parents/guardians) to view your bill.

Gather original documents/materials needed for student employment
If you choose to work on campus, you need to complete the appropriate federal documents. US citizens must provide evidence of identity (driver’s license, RISD ID or government photo ID) and US citizenship (US passport, Social Security card or birth certificate with a seal).
International students must apply for and receive a Social Security number. You can do this after you arrive at RISD. It’s important that you bring your original documents to campus with you since you cannot use copies in this process.
We will share more information about student employment over the summer and during student orientation. You may also contact our Student Employment office.
