Required tasks (marked with an R) need to be completed in the incoming student portal.
Early Decision student notification

Deadline for Early Decision students to submit $500 enrollment deposit (non-refundable)
Regular Decision student notification
Register for info sessions and on-campus Admitted Students Day events (dates tbd)
Brown | RISD Dual Degree acceptance notification

Incoming student forms available via your incoming student portal
These include required health forms, student policies acknowledgement and an emergency alert notifications signup form.
Deadline for Regular Decision students to submit $500 enrollment deposit (non-refundable)

Housing portal opens
The housing portal is your one stop location for accessing a wide variety of forms, applications and information related to housing and dining at RISD. This is where you will create your housing profile, let us know your residence hall preference and create a resident profile to help match you with potential roommates.
Please note, if you need a change or an accommodation for your housing on campus due to a medical reason, please review the medical accommodation guidelines and timeline. Contact Disability Support Services with questions.

Medical accommodations due
Medical accommodations for housing for the 24-25 academic year are reviewed monthly by the Medical Accommodations Review Committee. Materials submitted by May 24 will ensure a review and a timely response.

Applications due for RISD First-Generation to College Pre-Orientation Program (RISD FGC POP)
RISD FGC POP is an intensive, two-week, multifaceted experience for incoming students whose parents did not attend or complete college. This program focuses on supporting students in their holistic development.
Watch your RISD email for regular outreach from Student Financial Services and respond to any requests for missing financial aid information

Submit final high school transcripts
Review your fall bill
We will email your fall bill to your RISD student email address. You can add authorized users—such as family members—to view the bill.

Submit all incoming student forms and to-do items

Prepare documents/materials needed for student employment
Gather original documents and materials you need for student employment (ex: driver’s license, government photo ID, US passport, social security card, birth certificate with seal)
